Description
It is rare these days to be directed for trailer reads, even beyond the audition stage. Richard Redfield, VO coach and producer of hundreds of trailers and tv spots for movie campaigns, will describe how to turn a script for an upcoming movie spot and a few written words of direction into an effectively competitive recording. Together you will explore how to get a sense of the tone and intended audience, analyze the script, and come up with a series of possibilities for how to read it that will give you an advantage over the competition. Participants will work with scripts of their choice from a variety of genres and receive feedback that will help them improve their skills in both trailer auditions and actual assignments.
