Richard Larkin is the Executive Director/Labor Counsel in the News and Broadcast Department
of SAG-AFTRA. He, along with Jane Love, are the chief negotiators of the more than 90 SAG-
AFTRA national audiobook agreements. He has been organizing, negotiating and administering
audiobook contracts since 2008. In addition to his audiobook responsibilities, Rich is also
responsible for the negotiation, enforcement and administration of broadcasts agreements in
New York and nationally, including the Network News Agreements. Rich has been employed
with AFTRA and now SAG-AFTRA since May, 1983. He received a BA from Boston College in
1979 and a JD from St. John’s University in 1982.
