"Finding Your Authentic Voice" will be a breakout session co-taught by Dave Bisson and Jesse Carroll of Jesse Carroll's VoiceOver School. During the session, one participant will be selected to work with Dave & Jesse. First, they'll participate in an exercise Davecreated to show them the difference between their authentic voice and their inauthentic "presentational" voice. He'll then walk them (and the rest of the audience) through his script analysis process - designed to help them find their emotional connection to the script. For part 2 of the session, Jesse will run a mock directed session with the participant, giving them adjustments & preparing them for real-world directed sessions. Any leftover time can be used for general Q&A.
