This unique, hands-on session gives voice actors a chance to hear themselves and their peers on a wide array of studio microphones. Using a portable vocal booth equipped with a rotating selection of microphones, each participant will monitor their peers' voices through their own headphones (bring your favorite trusted cans), plugged into headphone amplifiers supplied by George. This is superior to the low-quality headphones supplied by Silent Disco rental companies.
Microphones you'll get to test:
- LDC FET- TLM103, Rode NT1, MK8, OC818
- SDC- Austrian Audio CC8 SC, Earthworks Ethos (forgot I had that)
- Shotgun- Sennheiser MKH416, Rode NTG4, AT875
- Dynamic- EV RE20
- Ribbon- Oktava MK52 figure 8
