We'll dig deep into script analysis, pulling as much helpful information from every part on the page, and discuss topics like when and how to improvise, strong character choices and the difference between delivering the best performance possible vs exactly what you think the casting director and writers WANT to hear.

Attendee Takeaways: Students will learn updated audition expectations, from proper slates to appropriate usage of adlibbing. Students will also come away with a greater understanding of today's adult animation landscape and sensibilities, as well as the things one might do unknowingly that could hurt your chances. I like to leave at least an hour at the end for these types of classes to hold a Q&A session - I'm an open book and I find this part of the class to be most unexpected and truly appreciated by mostly the students, but also the teacher.
