Marcus Rothenberg (they/them) is a biracial (Black/Jewish), non-binary voiceover artist, starting off in audiobooks and since branching out to a variety of other mediums, such as video games (Star-Lord in Marvel Snap), multiple voices in various anime (That Time I Was Reincarnated As A Slime and Legend Of The Galactic Heroes), commercials, animation, ADR, and live action dubs. Over the course of their career, they have voiced audiobooks for Penguin Random House and other publishers.
Marcus has always had a passion for storytelling and entertaining those around them. This has fueled their drive in their VO career and inspired them to launch and helm “Queer Quest,” a monthly VO workout for the Queer Vox community using tabletop role-playing games as a way to practice improvisation and character work.
Outside of the booth, Marcus enjoys D&D, anime, painting, kayaking, hiking, making their own dice, and hanging out with their 3 dogs.
