Doug Bartling Jr, also known as The VO Quadfather, brings to this years stage “a voice you can't refuse”. As NAVA’s 2023 Brad Venable scholarship recipient Doug is an Award-winning voice Talent the “real guy” from next door, with a personality that doesn't quit, a deep rich voice that always makes casting want him more and more.. His grit, gravitas and most importantly Doug's work ethic makes him a true VO Powerhouse that's best served bold!
Doug brings a different type of dynamic into the VO industry, as he’s a Quadriplegic of 17 years and is very excited to share his VO journey and life experiences with the world. He’s quite familiar with everyday struggles as a paralyzed man, but Doug is an absolute Pro when it comes to overcoming obstacles and struggles.
He is the first to let people know that his disability is no different than what anybody else goes through…”we all have stuff, but how do you overcome that stuff and still move forward is where a lot of people get stuck”. He loves inspiring and encouraging others to find their gift, seek and pursuit their dreams no matter what limitation they face. Dougs infectious personality and the way he views life in a positive light, it's no wonder why people want to surround themselves with him.
No matter the limitations that The Quadfather faces on a day to day basis, he finds a way to dig deep, and ckntinues to chase go after and achieve his dreams and aspirations…. To say that Doug is a voice Talent on the rise is an understatement of what he truly can bring to the table.
Hes a multiple Voice Arts Award nominee, with his background as a live on air radio DJ, motivational speaker, and actor, with his main passion is in VO. You could also catch him on Law & Order SVU as he got his first speaking billing role in 2022, Doug is well on his way of being on every casting director's radar.
