During the Pandemic of 2020 the voiceover industry made a dramatic shift in production. Auditions were no longer in person and voice actors had to learn how to record and edit on their own. It was during this time that I booked and recorded an entire season of the animated series Transformers: EarthSpark for Nickelodeon as well as a pilot based on a popular web comic Lackadaisy. I used what resources I had at my disposal and invested in the necessary tools that enabled me to work remotely. This breakout session is a beginners guide to self-recording and self-editing using industry standard equipment for the working actor.
