The Side Kick
Description
Dory, Iago, Abu, Donkey, Mushu, Stitch, Ferb...we will do a deep dive into what makes these animated characters pop and why audiences love them. Students will perform sides as other animated sidekicks and receive individualized feedback. We will also explore characters that use sounds to communicate instead of words. This class promises to be both educational and fun.
Attendee Takeaways:
Students will develop comedic sidekick characters that they can use in future auditions. They will learn to breakdown copy. They will also be asked to do some characters on the spot to work on their cold reading/performing skills.
