While in radio, under the tutelage of her co-worker, Heidi Rew began exploring voice over and on-camera work on the side. That co-worker, Mike Stoudt, married her and they lived happily ever after.

But that’s not the end of the story. Mike and Heidi left radio over a decade ago to make voice over and on-camera acting a full-time career. They’ve worked on projects for companies like Warby Parker, Jiffy Lube, Subway, Olay, Hershey’s, Captain Crunch, GE and more.

In 2017, they opened Atlanta Voiceover Studio as a small (100 sq ft) studio where on-camera actors could record their voice over auditions. From then to now, Atlanta Voiceover Studio has grown into a training and recording studio with a sound design engineer in a 3200 sq ft space. We record for companies like Disney, Food Network, A&E, UPS and more. There are classes and workshops for beginners to advanced voice over talent. We also create free resources for those interested in voice over like a weekly email newsletter, monthly podcast (Atlanta Voiceover Studio), YouTube channel and our social media content.
