Gillian Brashear is the narrator of the Emmy Award winning TV docu-series Wonder Women. Now, with Hamsterball Studios, she directs and casts VO for video games. Gillian also Co-Hosts the top VO podcast Let'sTalk Voice Over.
Her philosophy is that video games are the new frontier of storytelling where actors are called upon to evoke emotional performances that tie the players intrinsically into the outcome of their characters.
Between acting and directing she has worked on: Chivalry 2, Lord of the Rings Online, GTFO, The Walking Dead: Destinies, Dungeons and Dragons Online, Cosmonious High, NHRA: Speed for All, Titanic: Secrets of the Fateful Voyage, Little League World Series Baseball and Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded, among others.
Gillian is always listening for truth in acting performances, the innate humanity that grabs an audience. Her ability to guide rather than force a performance makes her a favorite director, teacher and coach. She teaches acting for video games internationally when not working on game audio production.
