Speaker Bio
Whether it was directing her younger brothers in her many plays or attending anime and comic book conventions in costume; from her early years Emma has always loved the art of storytelling. After working as a teen professionally in the Boston theatrical circuit, Emma set her sights on NYC where she attended the musical theater program NYU Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway. While getting her B.F.A in Drama at NYU, Emma also attended additional theatrical Shakespearean training abroad in London at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. After hustling in the NYC theater scene after graduation, she finally became a member of Actors Equity through the TheaterWorks USA Tour “Pete the Cat” Musical. When COVID hit, she took some time to re-evaluate her acting loves and goals. Over lockdown, after voicing various voices in the Funimation anime Arte, Emma connected once more with her roots in geekdom and storytelling and reformed her efforts. She is now a fully committed voice over artist whose voice can be heard in energetic, grounded voice radio reads or smooth, straight-talking witches in Genshin Impact. With extensive training in character acting, improv, and recreational table top role play Twitch streaming; Emma is all about being a piece on the board to facilitate the story and game, while embracing the elements of childhood play from her youth.
